Typical day

We will meet you at Bourg-Saint-Maurice, for the beginning of your Ski touring trip in the French Alps, directly at the train station, the day before the first day of ski touring. For example on Friday evening, to make the first excursion of your ski touring trip on Saturday. If necessary, we will pick up the ski touring equipment at our partner shop in Bourg-Saint-Maurice.
Then we will go to the chalet for your installation, a welcome drink, equipment check, and finally dinner.

Early in the morning, we check the weather and snow conditions for the day, then we choose the best itinerary according to the conditions and the level of the group.
A briefing on safety equipment (Avalanche Victim Detector), and mountain safety will be given.
Accompanied by your qualified instructor, you take the direction of the itinerary chosen the day before and confirmed in the morning.
After a few hours of effort, you will take a break for lunch, before continuing the ski tour or starting the descent!
At the end of the afternoon, we return to the Versaya lodge for a well-deserved rest.
In the evening, you will enjoy the comfort of the lodge while we prepare dinner.

Included / Not Included

Included in your ski touring trip in the French Alps:

2 or 3 days with your qualified instructor with the State Diploma of Alpine Ski Instructor or the State Diploma of High Mountain Guide.
The loan of your Peak Performance backpack with the safety equipment (Avalanche Victim Detector, Shovel, Probe) as well as training to use this equipment.
All meals: Breakfasts, lunches (Savoyard snacks), snacks twice a day, and dinners (Savoyard specialties prepared by our partner restaurant).
Transfers from Bourg-Saint-Maurice train station to the lodge and back.
