How do I make a booking ?
If you are interested in any of the offers, or have any question about it, fill in the form following your favourite get-away. Then we will answer your request, and we will exchange emails to adapt our services to your own needs. Finally, we will send you an email to confirm your reservation.
Insurance ?
We strongly recommend for any of the offers to buy the “Carré Neige”, this insurance must be bought at the lift ticket office with your lift ticket. It avoids huge costs related to the emergency in case of injury either on slope, in off-piste skiing or heli-skiing.
Can I do all the experiences with my snowboard ?
For sure! Even for the helicopter, snowboarders are equal to skiers. For ski touring or snowboard touring, it is possible do it with a split board.
When is the best time to book ?
We recommend booking as soon as possible, especially for Christmas, February and Easter. If you choose any product including helicopter, or a product including restaurant, we should you to book it in advance to have more chance to have availability.
Do I need powder skis for Heliskiing ?
This is up to you. We recommend to use ski or snowboard you are familiar with in this kind of terrain. Ideally wide powder skis or all mountain skis are the best choices for this type of terrain. With this type of skis, you will have more pleasure with less effort, have more stability, and enjoy more!
What the minimum age to go on heli-skiing ?
The minimum age to go on a heliskiing experience is 8 years old. It will mostly depend on the level of the young skiers and their ability to ski this kind of terrain.
How many people can go in the helicopter ?
We are 6 people in total in the helicopter, including the pilot and your instructor. So, groups are of up-to 4 people per instructor to enjoy the runs.
How does the weather affect our plan ?
Safety remains the most important aspect. The weather conditions of the day as well as the snow conditions and the bulletin of estimation of avalanche risk are the criteria taken into account for the maintenance of the heliski session. If the conditions are not up to the helicopter to fly or the conditions are bad, we will do our best to postpone the session within our/your availabilities, otherwise we will refund your reservation
How long are the Heli-skiing runs ?
It varies through the season, depending on the snow conditions.
How well do I have to ski to go on Freeride/Off-piste skiing ?
To enjoy freeride skiing, it’s preferable to be able to ski all the bleu runs in your resort, most of the red runs, and maybe black runs even if it’s challenging.
Do I need powder skis ?
This is up to you. We recommend using ski or snowboard you are familiar with in this kind of terrain. Ideally wide powder skis or all mountain skis are the best choices for this type of terrain. With this type of skis, you will have more pleasure with less effort, have more stability, and enjoy more !
Do I need specific safety equipment ?
Special Peak Performance backpack including shovel, probe and transceiver, which enable you to put your skis or snowboard on, will be landed to you for the day. To avoid some risks you should wear a helmet and eventually a back protection but it is not mandatory.
How well do I have to ski to go on ski touring ?
It’s preferable to be able to ski all the bleu runs in your resort and most of the red runs.
Which equipment should I bring ?
To go on ski touring you must have touring skis and fixations or a split board with adapted touring skins and shoes, trekking poles or normal poles, sunglasses and goggles, and your normal ski or snowboard equipment.
As for the Freeride/Off piste skiing the safety equipment and your specific PeakPerfomance backpack is landed for the day.
How physically trained I should be to go on ski touring ?
Ski touring is more physical than using the lift, however we will adapt the route to your level, so no worries, we are here to have fun.
